According to Forbes, Rihanna is now worth $1.7 billion, making her the richest female musician in the world and second only to Oprah Winfrey as the richest female entertainer.
However, it is not her music that has made her so wealthy. The majority of her fortune (an estimated $1.4 billion) is derived from the value of Fenty Beauty, which Forbes can now confirm she owns 50% of.
Her stake in her lingerie company, Savage x Fenty, is worth an estimated $270 million, as are her earnings as a chart-topping musician and actress.
The singer splits Fenty Beauty with LVMH, a luxury goods company in France that is run by Bernard Arnault, the world's second-richest person, according to the report.
Despite the burgeoning popularity of her various brand extensions, Rihanna has not released new music since her last album, Anti, was released in 2016, and her plans for future releases are still unknown.
