According to Kamal Powell, Regional Marketing Manager of Magnum Tonic Wine, “We are happy to be a part of this most iconic event for another year. We’ve partnered with Reggae Sumfest for many years, so for its 30th anniversary we had to come bigger and better to elevate the Magnum Reggae Sumfest experience.”

For the past month, the Magnum team has been making its rounds, with a series of roadshows, kickstarting its Reggae Sumfest campaign. These roadshows provided a platform to integrate the Magnum Top Performa competitors into the communities, giving patrons a taste of what to expect on festival night one. The recently crowned Top Performa, Jubba, will make his debut on the Reggae Sumfest stage, promising an entertainment-filled set while gaining recognition from both local and international industry players.

While refusing to go in-depth about the Company’s execution at Reggae Sumfest, Powell alluded to the execution of a Magnum SkyDeck at the festival’s venue, which will host the winners of the numerous giveaways that were done as part of their ‘Road to Sumfest’ campaign.

Powell went on to express that the Company’s partnership is quite fitting, “The Magnum brand has remained true to dancehall and all it entails over the years. With the decision to be a part of this year’s staging, we had to find a way to really highlight the excellent talent that exists in the space, and what better way to do that than through Top Performa? In addition to that, Thursday night’s Global Soundclash will feature the winner of the Magnum All-Star Sound Clash, so that's also another talent that will gain traction at home and abroad” stated Powell.

Reggae Sumfest’s 30th anniversary is set to take place from July 16-22, 2023 at the Catherine Hall Stadium, Montego Bay. The festival will showcase the best of Jamaican culture, music, entertainment, food and so much more. Magnum Tonic Wine, being the official drink of dancehall, invites patrons to come out and celebrate this momentous occasion with them as dancehall is once more catapulted into the spotlight. The Company urges consumers to drink responsibly and to come ‘tek charge a tings’ as we celebrate the return of Reggae Sumfest.
