1. How does it feel to be Mister Jamaica Supranational 2024?
Representing my country, Jamaica, at Mister Supranational is incredibly meaningful to me. It allows me to showcase our culture to the world and offer a fresh perspective on who we are as a people. This opportunity also lets me represent the aspirations of many dreamers who hope to be in my position one day. Additionally, I can bring global attention to the concerns of the sickle cell community. Most importantly, I aim to inspire not just my fellow Jamaicans but people worldwide, demonstrating that you can achieve anything you set your mind to with determination. I feel incredibly honoured to represent Jamaica in this capacity.
2. How is your preparation going for the finals in Poland?
My preparation for the finals in Poland has been going well. I've been working hard on both my mind and body to ensure I'm ready. My efforts were validated by my victory in round 1 of the Supra Chat competition segment. I'm continually striving to improve and make a strong impression at the finals.
3. What charity is your focus for this year?
This year, my charity focuses on raising awareness and providing support for sickle cell disease. Having lived in denial due to the stigma associated with the condition, I saw firsthand the struggles of my brother and sister, who shared the same plight. This personal experience, coupled with the realization that millions worldwide suffer similarly, inspired me to change the narrative around sickle cell. As a certified mentor, I combine sickle cell awareness with mentorship to inform and inspire those affected, showing them that there is life beyond this condition. I work with numerous NGOs to ensure sickle cell patients receive the support they need to live fulfilling lives.
4. How do you relax?
Life is full of ups and downs, and it's essential to relax, especially when challenges arise. I relax by playing a game of chess, listening to music, or getting engrossed in an exciting adventure or thriller movie or series.
5. What is your favourite food?
No matter the variety of foods I enjoy, nothing makes me feel as satisfied as eating ackee and saltfish with ground provisions or a tin of corned beef with white rice.
6. What is your favourite colour?
My favourite colours are grey, white, and navy blue.
7. What would we be surprised to learn about you?
I think most people would be surprised to learn that I am very reserved, shy, and actually an introvert.
8. Name three things that you must have in your bag.
I must have my face soap, my wallet and a mini chess board or puzzle book in my bag.
9. Tell us about the international competition?
The Mister Supranational pageant is an international male beauty contest that focuses on finding the most handsome and charismatic men worldwide. It was one of the newer international male pageants held in 2016 in Poland.
The pageant celebrates male beauty, style, and charisma while promoting positive values such as confidence, leadership, and social awareness. Contestants compete in various categories, including swimwear, formal wear, and talent, showcasing their physical attractiveness, personality, and talents.
One of the unique aspects of Mister Supranational is its focus on diversity and inclusivity, welcoming contestants from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and nationalities. The pageant also emphasizes the importance of community involvement and social responsibility, encouraging contestants to use their platform to impact their communities and beyond positively.

10. What would you say to young men who want to enter the competition in 2025?
From my own experience, I can tell you that pageantry has revealed so much about myself that I didn't know. It built my confidence and character, helping me attain true self-actualization. So, to any young man considering entering the competition in 2025, I would say that anything is possible once you believe. If I can do it, you can too. Just ensure that it's something you love and that it aligns with your purpose. You can learn a lot from the experience that will help you become the best version of yourself, so just go for it.
11. What can we expect from you in the future?
If I have not learnt anything, I have learnt that we make life plans, but sometimes life has other plans for us.
God's willing, you will hear from me or about me. My purpose for service will continue to push my Sickle Cell awareness and mentorship project worldwide. As a student nurse aiming to become a travel nurse, I aim to impact the health sector by changing the current perspective on the quality of care our nurses provide.
