Dream Weekend, Jamaica's largest party experience, is making a big comeback in the diaspora, with a stop in New York from August 27 to 29.
The party series returned to Jamaica just a few weeks ago after being forced to postpone its 2020 event due to the pandemic. With the reopening of the United States, the event hopes to bring together Jamaicans and other Caribbean nations in New York.
According to Carlos Philpotts, Marketing Director of Dream Entertainment, the pandemic has caused their team to retool and re-evaluate their events.
“We have to be innovative in these times. We have amazing plans as Dream takes on public events once again; our outlook and our objectives are going to be different but nonetheless exciting and entertaining, possibly revolutionary!” Philpotts disclosed.
A long list of DJs has been confirmed for Dream Weekend New York, including Max Glazer, Sal Infrared, Stone Love, Young Chow, Coppershot, Chromatic, and Back to Basics.
Spice, Bunji Garlin, Serani, Ajji, and Chi Ching Ching will also perform at the highly anticipated event.
