Continuing on the path of being one of the most consistent entertainers out of Jamaica, The First Lady Of Dancehall, D’Angel, has teamed up with Kaffi Blak on his single “Personality” which is already turning heads.
Produced by Jamus Productions, the single made its way to digital streaming sites on October 10, 2017 through Zojak Worldwide.
“When Jamus contacted my team, MIA Production, and brought the idea to the table, we immediately fell in love with it. He explained that he was looking for a particular sound and I fit the criteria perfectly, Kaffi Blak recorded his part and I didn’t hesitate to drop my verse.” said D’Angel.
“The feedback the single has been receiving is amazing and fans are defiantly in for a treat when the visuals drop. The single speaks of a man falling in love with a woman’s personality and not just her outward appearance, the video depicts this perfectly. I have to credit Jimmy Blanco for doing an amazing job directing the video, he captured the essence of the single perfectly” said D’Angel.
Shot and directed in Manhattan, New York, the visuals for the track is slated to be premiered on November 18, 2017.
With the potential the single has, D’Angel and Kaffi Blak plan on doing an extended media tour in North America and Jamaica to support the track.
Though the single is still fresh, D’Angel explains that her work never ends as she is currently in studios working on several tracks and videos that are set to hit the market by year end and early next year.
“My singles No Worries with Spice, Just Go and Whipped are doing extremely well, I am grateful. I have a new song titled So Blessed which will be released very soon among others. My fans are putting in their requests and I’m making it happen” she said.
D’Angel recently completed The Release Innovation Tour and is currently creating an island wide buzz on the SMR Tour while gearing up for the GT Taylor Christmas Extravaganza.
