The Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival, DC will offer residents of Greater Washington as well as visitors, a deliciously entertaining experience as they feast on spicy jerk cuisine, enjoy hot music and bask in the cool festival vibes.
It's a Festival with a distinctly Caribbean flavor; a must-attend event for friends & families who relish exotic food & drink, a warm positive vibe, and of course, world-class reggae & cultural performances.
Presented by the Institute of Caribbean Studies and produced by Jamaican Jerk Festival NY, LLC to celebrate June as Caribbean American Heritage Month.
The festival features: A Main Stage for national headliners and local bands; a Cultural Stage with traditional folk, oral presentations and up-coming artists; a Jerk Cook-off Pavilion, featuring top chefs, celebrities and participating restaurants, competing for cash and bragging rights; a Kids Zone offering interactive games and fun activities to keep the young ones busy all day. An extensive Food Village serving tasty Caribbean cuisine that's a destination in itself; and a vibrant Sponsor's Row with lots of giveaways and prizes.
